A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for the end-of-year social gathering filled with delicious pizza, delightful wines, and fantastic company. Your presence truly made the event special and unforgettable.
From our very beginnings, just nine months ago, it's been an amazing journey of learning, growth, and building a vibrant community passionate about project management excellence. A massive 'thank you' to all our members, volunteers, and supporters for contributing to this phenomenal success.
Gratitude to our committee and those who have supported us throughout the year including special mentions to Heath Roberts, Kellie Myers, and Ben Cashman, but also to anyone else who supported our endeavors. It was wonderful to see Neil Cummings, Emma Holman, Jack Stevens, Nerida Plumpton, and Rik Hilhorst (some of the first 25 members of PMI Tasmania) and many more joining us for the celebration!
At the end of year celebration, we announced the winner of the PMI Tasmania Chapter PMP Scholarship. This scholarship entitles the winner free participation in training to prepare for the Project Management Professional certification licensed by PMI.
Gifts were also presented to some of the people who helped us with the Mini-Conference that was held in April in celebration of the launch of the chapter.
A special gift was also presented to the 100th member of the chapter. That's right... In just 9 months, over 100 people have joined PMI Tasmania.
Congratulations PMI Tasmania Chapter! We are looking forward to more exciting events and successes in the upcoming year.
