Become a PMI Tasmania Sponsor

If you or your organisation would like to become a sponsor of PMI Tasmania Chapter or one of our events, feel free to email us at info@pmitas.org.

The Project Lab

PMI Tasmania would like to thank local consulting and training organisation The Project Lab for the generous use of their amazing training facilities so that we could run the first in-person PMI CAPM (Certified Associate of Project Management) and PMP (Project Management Professional) certification courses ever to be held in Tasmania. Without the generous donation of these fantastic facilities, attendees would have no other choice but to undertake these courses and sit the certification exams online.

PMI Tasmania Website

PMI Tasmania would like to thank local consulting firm, Phase 2 Consulting, who have continued to donate their time and expertise by developing, supporting and maintaining the PMI Tasmania website free of charge.

Launch Reception and Mini-Conference

Local Tasmanian consulting firm, Resonance, sponsored the launch and inaugural mini-conference for the new PMI Tasmania Chapter.  They also provide sponsorship through the free use of their facilities for meetings and conferences.

Located in Moonah, Resonance are a strategy, planning and project management consultancy. They take customers' ideas and make them reality. They have the creativity, tenacity and flexibility that’s essential in bringing a project from concept to completion. Which makes them ideal partners to work with PMI Tasmania to bring the launch event to reality.  Rebecca Greenwood from Resonance was the driving force behind the formation of the PMI Tasmania Chapter and is serving as the Interim President of the Board until our inaugural election of Board Officers.

Awards Programs

Project Showcase & Award

Each meeting of PMI Tasmania will showcase up to 4 of the best projects an individual organisation has been working on over the past year.  Featured projects may still be in progress but must be "deployed / live".  (e.g.: a bridge must have cars / pedestrians travelling on it, a building must have tenants, an ICT system must have people using it, a research project must have subjects / participants, etc).  Each project will be asked to record a presentation of up to 10 minutes which will be displayed at the meeting.  PMI Tasmania members will vote to decide the "Project of the Month".

Each “Project of the Month” will be in the running to win “Project of the Year”.

Project of the Year Award

Each "Project of the Month" throughout the year will go into the running to be selected as the "Project of the Year" which will be chosen by an expert panel appointed to evaluate each of the eligible projects.
