International PMO Day - 13th May 2025

To celebrate International PMO Day, PMI Tasmania Chapter held their International PMO Day Breakfast. Leaders from Project Management Offices across Tasmanian corporations and government departments were invited to join members of the Board for an enjoyable breakfast at Hadley's Orient Hotel.

Breakfast was delicious and guests enjoyed the opportunity to network with colleagues and learn about other PMO structures and services.

Our Treasurer, herself a PMO lead at TasWater, directed a panel discussion where we heard of the learnings, challenges and advancement of two Tasmanian PMOs. Our speakers for the breakfast were

• Abby Bennet from Hydro Tasmania; and

• Kim Connell from Bank of Us.

This was such a successful event that the PMI Tasmania Chapter Board will probably make this an annual event.
