Get to know the new members of the PMI Tasmania Chapter Board of Directors

Updated: Jun 24

Wednesday 4th June saw the Annual General Meeting and election of the Board of Directors for the PMI Tasmania Chapter. It was great to see an excellent attendance result as our new Chapter continues to grow.

At the meeting we heard from Chapter President, Rebecca Greenwood, who presented the Annual Board Report and from Chapter Treasurer, Melanie Strachan, who outlined the financial report for the Chapter. Both demonstrated that our small, brand new Chapter is kicking goals, growing, retaining members and - not to mention - holding supremely successful bi-annual conferences!!!

Let’s get to know the new members of the Board - some have stayed the same, some have moved roles and there's a couple of new faces. These individuals have volunteered their time and dedicate themselves to furthering the advancement of PMI and the project management profession in Tasmania and we would very much like to thank and congratulate them.

But, before we do that, we would like to recognise and sincerely thank our retiring Directors – Johan Jordaan (Vice President) and Therese Kharal (Director South).  Thanks so much for your dedication, commitment and teamwork over the last year as we set about establishing a PMI Chapter in Tasmania. We will all miss your contributions on the Board.

The new Board represents a great mix of backgrounds and experiences and spans a broad range of industries. We are excited and pleased to introduce (or re-introduce) you to …
