Learning Objective 1: Understanding Conflict and the role of Conflict Management in Project Management

Learning Objective 2: Conflict resolution tactics and strategies in project management

Learning Objective 3: Applying conflict resolution strategies to real life examples, the audience will be able to practice the strategies to common project management conflicts transforming conflict into opportunity.


About the Presenter:

Amany Nuseibeh, FPMIA, MBT, PMP, is Director Optimal Consulting, renowned for her prowess as an Enterprise PMO consultant. Her career is a testament to her ability to navigate and deliver complex projects with finesse, impacting a range of industries from aviation to telecommunications. Amany’s expertise has been pivotal to organisations like Qantas Airways, BHP Billiton, Vodafone, University of New South Wales (UNSW), Australian Graduate School of Management (AGSM), The Catholic Diocese of Maitland Newcastle, and State & Federal Government where she has not only delivered multi-million-dollar projects but also turned around failing programs and established and managed key Portfolio Management Offices.

Her commitment to the project management profession and community is evident through her volunteer work with PMI, her roles included PMI Sydney Chapter President, co-chair of PMI Ethics Member Advisory Group and PMI Chapters Conflict Mediator. These efforts have earned her the Fellow PMI Australia award and the PMI Australia Distinguished Contribution Award. Beyond her professional sphere, Amany is a casual lecturer at Western Sydney University and speaker who values sharing knowledge.Her qualifications include a BSc in Computer Science, Post Grad in Accounting, Diploma in Project Management, Master of Business and Technology, PMP, CPPD, MoP Practitioner and P3O Practitioner.Her personal pursuits reflect a love for Sydney’s natural beauty, often found enjoying reflective walks along its scenic beaches.
