OUR SPEAKER Vinesh Balan
Vinesh works full-time as a Software Developer with Iress in Melbourne. However, his real passion is helping migrants and international students. It all started from his frustrating journey and the thought that others shouldn’t make the same mistake.
Job Hunt 2.0 was thus born to spread the message on ‘How to job search?’. He runs weekly and monthly events to emphasize the importance of networking and to be the person he wishes he had when job hunting.
After securing his first role, he started sharing his journey on LinkedIn and organized meetups to help other migrant job seekers. This has snowballed into something amazing! Over the years, Vinesh has:
💥organized over 100 events through my Job Hunt 2.0 meetup group
💥been recognized as a LinkedIn Top Voice in Jobs and Careers
💥hosted many live interviews through his Youtube channel
💥hosted 'Career Australia' on M4TV
💥been invited to present and be a panellist at various universities and organizations.
