About the event

Paul will teach strategies for leading projects with confidence and adaptability when the goalposts are moving.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

  • What the session addresses: Projects often face uncertainty due to shifting priorities, unexpected obstacles, or external factors beyond the PM’s control, causing stress and confusion.

  • What Paul will teach: Drawing on his background as a pilot in military aviation, this session will focus on how to lead with confidence and adaptability to keep projects moving forward even when uncertainty is high.

SPEAKER:

Paul Winnister (Leadership Expert | Coach | Former Air Force Pilot)

As a former RAF combat pilot responsible for leading teams to safety in life-or-death situations, I learnt to navigate the high-risk unpredictability of war zones and humanitarian operations with calm and confidence. When I hung up my pilot’s wings and began leading large-scale corporate transformations and mergers across diverse global teams, that unique perspective became the foundation of my success as both a colleague and team lead. Over the years I’ve learnt that the key to being a successful program and project leader lies in cultivating compassion, awareness and adaptability to thrive under pressure.
