PMI Tasmania is pleased to offer a scholarship comprising tuition fees for the in-person and online PMP® (certified Project Management Professional) & CAPM® (Certified Associate Project Manager) exam preparation course. The scholarship is valued at up to AUD $1,899. The Scholarship is open only to PMI Tasmania Chapter members and the recipient will need to fund the cost of the PMP® or CAPM® examination fee.
About the course
The course comprises 12 weeks x 2.5 hours of in-person and online training delivered by our Authorised Training Provider, Millpond. It is an in-depth course encompassing contemporary project management practices, including both adaptive and predictive approaches, and elements of business analysis. It would suit people building a career as a project manager, with some experience developing and delivering projects.
On completion of the course, students can apply to sit an exam and be certified as a Project Management Professional or Associate Project Manager.

To be eligible you must be a current PMI Tasmania Chapter member which costs a total of approximately $360AUD ($229USD PMI membership plus $90AUD Tasmania Chapter membership) Join (pmitas.org)
If you work in the Not-for-profit sector and cannot afford membership, but would love to apply for this scholarship, please contact President@pmitas.org to state your case for extra support. A small amount of funding is available to provide memberships, which will be disbursed on a first come, first served basis at the discretion of the President.
