About the event
🌟Join PMI Tasmania for an exclusive behind-the-scenes site visit of the Burnie Health Hub!🌟
A transformative redevelopment project delivering a modern, fully integrated healthcare precinct for the region. This project has reimagined the long-vacant University of Tasmania site into a contemporary health hub featuring a Medicare Urgent Care Clinic, general practice and allied health suites, pathology, pharmacy, and community wellness spaces. It represents a strong example of adaptive reuse, collaborative delivery, and integrated service design focused on improving patient outcomes.
Attendees will gain insight into:
The project journey from concept to delivery
Key design and coordination considerations
Managing staged construction within a live environment
Collaboration between consultants, contractors, and stakeholders
Delivering complex health infrastructure at pace
On the day, Marty Viney (Oceanside Consulting) will provide commentary on the design and delivery model, alongside guest insights from Jack Muir Wilson, development partner and local healthcare professional, who will share his perspective on the project and its significance to the Burnie community.
Following the site visit, join us for a relaxed networking session at the Beach Hotel for a great opportunity to connect with fellow professionals, continue discussions, and build local networks.
